The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks support scouting and look to help promote the growth of the program on the Vineyard.
This year the “Murdick's Run the Chop Challenge” event takes place on July 4th at the Tisbury School on Spring Street in Vineyard Haven starting @ 8:30 AM. Sharks baseball game follows this event.
The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks play a very active role in the Vineyard community and are involved with numerous local non-profit organizations and other community groups. The Sharks involvement with the Hospice of Martha’s Vineyardis a prime example of this role.
The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks have agreed with the Martha's Vineyard Little League to establish a “promotional day” for all boys and girls who belong to the Matha's Vineyard Little League...opening day!
The Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club (“the Club”) was the initial community group that reached out to the Sharks during the formation of the team.
The Martha's Vineyard Cancer Support Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families who live on the island.
