Community Organizations SHARKS SUPPORT THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICAThe Martha’s Vineyard Sharks support scouting and look to help promote the growth of the program on the Vineyard.  "MURDICK'S RUN THE CHOP CHALLENGE" ADDS THE SHARKS TO ITS RECIPEThis year the “Murdick's Run the Chop Challenge” event takes place on July 4th at the Tisbury School on Spring Street in Vineyard Haven starting @ 8:30 AM. Sharks baseball game follows this event.  THE SHARKS JOIN TEAM HOSPICE OF MARTHA'S VINEYARDThe Martha’s Vineyard Sharks play a very active role in the Vineyard community and are involved with numerous local non-profit organizations and other community groups. The Sharks involvement with the Hospice of Martha’s Vineyardis a prime example of this role.  THE SHARKS & LITTLE LEAGUE SWIM TOGETHERThe Martha’s Vineyard Sharks have agreed with the Martha's Vineyard Little League to establish a “promotional day” for all boys and girls who belong to the Matha's Vineyard Little League...opening day!  THE SHARKS & MARTHA'S VINEYARD BOYS & GIRLS CLUBThe Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club (“the Club”) was the initial community group that reached out to the Sharks during the formation of the team.  THE SHARKS & MV CANCER SUPPORT GROUP MAKE A PITCHThe Martha's Vineyard Cancer Support Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families who live on the island.  |
